Queenstown Memorial Centre Quarter-finals
In 8 sessions over four days, all 16 competitors run the gauntlet of Paganini, Bach, Cresswell, show pieces, salon pieces, romantic sonatas and the popular ad libitum selections.
Attend one session or taken advantage of generous discounts with an All-session pass and come and go as you like.
All passholders are invited to enjoy a light lunch 31 May. Only 100 All-session passes are available for sale so get in quickly.
You can receive substantial savings by purchasing at least 2 of the Auckland rounds through the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra’s ticketing service.
5 and 6 June 7:30pm
Auckland Town Hall Concert Chamber – Semi-finals
The pressure mounts as 6 competitors are advanced and with just one rehearsal, perform Mozart’s sublime string quintets.
8 June 7:30pm
Auckland Town Hall – Grand Finale
The top three finalists go head to head with dramatic and powerful concertos, accompanied by the full Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra.
Prizes are announced immediately afterwards.
